From September 1, 2023, the new Data Protection Act (nDSG) as well as the implementing provisions in the new Data Protection Ordinance (DSV) and the new Ordinance on Data Protection Certifications (VDSZ) will come into force.
With the entry into force of the revised Data Protection Act and the ordinances, Switzerland is responding to a request from the business community so that Switzerland will continue to be recognized as a third country with an adequate level of data protection under European law and cross-border data transfers will remain possible in the future without additional requirements.
The new data protection law ensures better protection of personal data. In particular, it strengthens self-determination over personal data, increases transparency in the procurement of personal data and adapts protection to technological developments.
As a trust company, our clients and employees entrust us with particularly sensitive data. In recent months, we have therefore dealt intensively with the revised Data Protection Act and the consequences for our company. We have defined responsibilities, scrutinized and updated processes, revised our privacy policy and created the necessary documents. We also held an internal training course to sensitize and strengthen all our employees to this important topic.
Do you need support with the implementation in your company or do you have questions about the specific implementation? We will be happy to help you!

We look forward to exchanging ideas with you.
